1. Sprinkle generously the cutting board with baking soda.

2. Leave on for a few minutes.

3. Then sprinkle some salt over the baking soda layer.

4. Cut a lemon in 2 and use one half to rub the board. Squeeze the lemon from time to time to add juice to the salt and baking soda.

5. Rinse the cutting board well with water and dry it with a towel.

6. Allow the board to air dry before storing.
