My 5 Tips to Get Rid of the Smell of Tobacco at Home.

Contents
  • 1. Cups and water
  • 2. Ashtrays full of sand
  • 3. Ammonia salt
  • 4. Orange peels
  • 5. A damp cloth

1. Cups and water

I fill cups with water. I put a damp sponge in it. And I place the cups in several rooms before the start of the evening. The sponges suck up the smoke. It is even possible to flavor the water with essential oils to combine business with pleasure!

2. Ashtrays full of sand

I fill the ashtrays with sand and sprinkle them with Herbes de Provence. The sand instantly extinguishes cigarette butts and the herbs perfume the surrounding air. Again, two birds with one stone!

3. Salt of ammonia

I place containers containing a tablespoon of sal ammoniac and a little lavender essential oil at the four corners of the main room. The smell completely covers the smoke.

4. Orange peels

I burn previously dried orange peels to prevent the smoke from permeating the curtains. In winter, I can even place the peels on the radiators so that the smell spreads faster thanks to the heat.

5. A damp cloth

I swirl a damp cloth around every room before or after the party. The linen absorbs the smoke and cools the atmosphere.
