The trick is to polish your shoes with a halved onion . Look, it's quite simple:
1. Cut an onion in half.
2. Pass the cut side over the patent leather shoe.
3. Rub well all over.
4. Do the same with the second bunion half on the other shoe.
5. Let your pair of shoes dry.
6. Polish the shoes with a clean, soft cloth.
And There you go ! Your patent shoes are now back to their original shine :-)
