What you need: 2 teaspoons of citric acid, alcohol at 90°. If you don't have citric acid, use white vinegar.
How to: fill a bowl with hot water and pour the citric acid into it to dilute it. Take a sponge and wet it with this mixture. Scrub scaled-up taps with the sponge. Rinse with clean water.
Now take a clean cloth and soak it in 90° alcohol. Run the rag over the faucet. No need to rinse! You will see, your faucet will be sparkling clean. No more limestone!
What you need: 3 tablespoons baking soda, 1 tablespoon vinegar, 90° alcohol (optional).
How to: Pour the white vinegar into a container and add the baking soda. Also pour a tablespoon of water and mix to obtain a paste. Take a sponge, scoop out some paste and scrub the faucets.
Don't hesitate to use a toothbrush to scrape off the encrusted limestone in the small corners. Rinse thoroughly. Finally, you can soak a cloth in 90° alcohol and pass it over the taps to polish them.
What you need: 1/4 lemon.
How to: cut a lemon in 4 and take 1/4. As if it were an anti-limestone sponge, pass the lemon over the tap and rub well. Rinse and dry with a microfiber cloth.
This is an effective technique for removing loosely encrusted limestone and maintaining taps. For a faucet full of limestone that has been encrusted for a long time, it is better to use the other techniques.
