Household alcohol, what exactly is it?

Come on, a bit of general knowledge to start.

First of all, be aware that household alcohol has nothing to do with household vinegar.

Household alcohol is made up of 3/4 methylated spirit, ethanol, methanol and disinfectant.

This composition allows it to have a sweeter smell than pure methylated spirits.

The product is therefore completely breathable without having to wear a mask (unlike ammonia for example).

It is perfectly suitable as a daily care product.

And for everyone's pleasure, there are even scented household alcohols.

Alcohol is available in 90 and 70 degree versions.

For sores, it's the version mixed with camphor to take.

It is more suitable for the skin and soothes pain.

But I'll tell you. In absolute terms, it doesn't matter how your household alcohol is distilled.

This product is in any case efficient and useful in all circumstances.

From simple surface cleaning to removing stubborn stains, rubbing alcohol does it all.

Now let's see together how to use this little-known product:

Household alcohol cleans almost all surfaces.

Whether for tiles, stainless steel, mirrors, lino or other, the result is perfect.

He is also very good at sanitizing the bathroom and the kitchen.

But where it particularly shines is for cleaning floors.

It has the advantage of evaporating faster only water and does not need rinsing.

Be careful though that your pet does not lick the floor after applying it.

But that goes for all household products.

For the types of alcohol to use (diluted, pure, 90 or 70), the answer is simple.

We adapt according to the nature of the surface to be treated, that's all.

Ah yes, last thing.

If like me, you've struggled for years to find out how to clean your slatted blinds...

...Do not search anymore ! Household alcohol makes your life easier.

The trick is very simple:

Coffee maker, sink, taps... all the utensils are concerned!

And I'm not telling you about the condition of my stainless steel or chrome surfaces like the hood.

Want it all to shine bright again?

Take a soft cloth (so as not to make scratches) and dip it in undiluted rubbing alcohol.

Vigorously polish the surfaces to be treated and you're done.

But I'll tell you, the magic doesn't stop there.

Household alcohol also makes jewelry shine .

It is super effective on gold, silver, bronze and other metals.

The process is super simple.

Fill a container with rubbing alcohol, put your jewelry in it and let it sit overnight.

When you wake up, wipe with a dry microfiber cloth and you're done.

Something else to do:

Use household alcohol to properly clean your ceramic hobs.

It removes stubborn burn marks.

Finally, having tested it, I can tell you that household alcohol also treats rust perfectly.

Bonus Tip:

If household alcohol is good at cleaning, disinfecting and shining, wait until you see what's next!

One of its main features will, I'm sure, delight you.

Household alcohol cleans and degreases your windows and mirrors perfectly!

To obtain an optimal result, nothing could be simpler:

Fill a container with household alcohol and leave in the open air for ten minutes.

Take the opportunity to make balls of newspaper big enough, without being too dense.

Wet the paper ball on one of its sides.

Swipe the glass with the wet side, making small circular gestures.

Wait a few moments for all the product to evaporate (if necessary, wipe with a clean, dry cloth).

There you go, your windows and mirrors are flawless again.

And if you're planning, do this the night before.
