Some grandmother's advice

Before showing you how to properly clean the fridge, let's see together what my grandmother advised me.

First, she told me to clean my fridge if possible once a month.

For more efficient cleaning, she asked me to empty it completely and defrost it.

Finally, she formally advised me not to clean it with bleach.

This product leaves persistent chlorine residues that can become toxic!

Instead, turn to natural products; I show you which ones below.

Tip n°1:Baking soda + Household alcohol

Baking soda has the advantage of not scratching surfaces while having abrasive properties.

Household alcohol allows him to disinfect the refrigerator well.

The combination of these 2 natural products makes it a very effective cleaning cocktail for very dirty fridges.

What you need

- 3 tablespoons of baking soda.

- 2 tablespoons of rubbing alcohol.

- 1 non-abrasive sponge.

How to

- Dilute the baking soda with the alcohol at 90 until you obtain a paste.

- Put the paste on a sponge; clean the walls and shelves of the fridge with it.

- To avoid product deposits, rinse immediately after washing.

You should also know that baking soda eliminates bad odors from the fridge.

Tip n°2:White vinegar + Soda crystals

The 2nd method to make your fridge nickel is to use soda crystals and white vinegar.

Once mixed, these 2 fungicidal and bactericidal products become a formidable multi-purpose cleaner.

What you need

- 1 tablespoon of soda crystals.

- White vinegar.

- 1 sponge.

How to

- In 1L of hot water, dilute the soda crystals.

- Dip the sponge in the solution and pass it over all the surfaces and walls of the fridge.

- Rinse the sponge and soak it this time in white vinegar.

- Iron the whole fridge with a sponge.

White vinegar also helps eliminate bad odors from inside your fridge.

Tip n°3:White vinegar + Sodium percarbonate.

With this formula, we keep the excellent white vinegar that we associate with sodium percarbonate.

The big advantage of percarbonate is that it cleans like bleach, but contains no chlorine.

It is also nicknamed "chlorine-free bleach".

It therefore leaves no chlorine residue in your fridge or in nature.

What you need

- White vinegar.

- 1 tablespoon of sodium percarbonate.

- 1 square of sponge or clean cloth.

- 1 vaporizer.

How to

- Put white vinegar in a spray bottle and spray it inside the fridge.

- Dilute 2 glasses of hot water and 1 tablespoon of percarbonate in the tank of the vaporizer.

Also spray this solution in the fridge.

- Pass the square sponge or clean cloth to rinse and dry the inside of the fridge.
