How to Clean the Sink Hole? The tip to have for an overflowing nickel.

Lo and behold, your sink overflow is now nickel chrome :-)

Easy, fast and efficient, right?

Do this cleaning once a month.

And you are sure that the overflow will not clog.

But in addition, you say goodbye to bad smells coming out.

Not to mention that it's still much cleaner and more hygienic that way!

Additional tips for cleaning the sink hole

- It is always better to use a natural product to clean and disinfect your sink. Of course, bleach is effective in disinfecting and removing traces of mold. But it is also super toxic. And it is frankly not recommended if you have a septic tank.

- On the other hand, be aware that you can replace the white vinegar with another natural product such as citric acid.

- You don't have a bottle brush? You can use a plastic straw or a flexible plastic wire like a tie wrap or a zip tie. But be careful not to drop it in the hole! Hold it tight.

- You can also use a pear to pour the vinegar water into the overflow hole. It works just as well on any overflow (Leroy Merlin, Castorama, Ikea, Brico-Dépôt...).

- Be careful not to push the cloth too far into the hole. You have to be able to remove it easily.

- In some cases, the grid must be removed before cleaning the overflow. Take the opportunity to clean it with white vinegar and an old toothbrush.

- Sometimes there are rust spots around the overflow. To remove them effortlessly, just use one of these natural and effective tricks.

Why does it work?

Thanks to the brush, the dirt is removed or pushed back to be evacuated.

They no longer block the water drain.

With its acidity, white vinegar removesmold and limescale .

At the same time, it disinfects the pipe.

Bicarbonate eliminates bad odors.

When it comes into contact, it makes bubbles, which helps loosen the dirt better.

Practical and economical!
