I don't know about you, but half the time I don't can't light my match. I scratch, but nothing. Worse:the match breaks.
Fortunately, there is a grandmother's trick to successfully strike a match without breaking it.
The trick is to rub the match from top to bottom with a sharp blow.
1. Take a match out of its box.
2. Hold the box of matches firmly in your hand.
3. Strike your match from top to bottom with a sharp blow.
And There you go ! You have struck a match without breaking it :-) In addition, with this method, you save the scraper!
* You can reuse a match a second time, such as when you need to light many candles. You can use the stick to pass the flame from one candle to another.
* Store the stick in a dry place. If it ever gets wet, dip it in nail polish.
