My 6 Basic Gestures for Tidying Up Everything Effortlessly.

My 6 Basic Gestures for Tidying Up Everything Effortlessly.

Storage? I don't know about you, but frankly, it's not my cup of tea! Fortunately, I found right and left gestures to make tidying up the house easier and faster, and above all effortless.

That's time saved to do nicer things, or even do nothing at all!

The things I'm going to tell you here are basic and will allow you to spend less energy in the storage . To be put into practice on a daily basis.

1. I throw away regularly

The art of emptiness is not obvious, but I trained myself to get rid regularly of what has become useless , of what is too old , or superfluous :I give it away, I sell it... or I throw it away!

2. I spot the places where the mess is piled up

You have noticed ? It's always in the same places may the mess happen again as if by magic!

Well, it's probably missing an object that would solve the problem :a coat rack in the entrance (it would free up the armchair always overloaded with coats), a shelf at the bottom of the closet (it would tidy up loose boots and sneakers), a trash can on the console (to centralize keys, pens, bus tickets, coins).

3. I am far-sighted

I try to overestimate the storage space I buy, so I know there is room left for what I don't have yet:my books, my shoes, my t-shirts...

4. I facilitate access

I make sure that the objects I use most often are stored as close as possible of their place of use:they are thus easy to catch and easy to store . Coats and shoes in the hallway, towels in the bathroom, etc.

5. I try to be logical

I sort my sweaters by colors , my kitchen utensils by functions , toys by sizes , and collect nearby items in boxes , jars , boxes , etc.

6. I stick labels

I label the containers:what is not immediately visible is thus easy to guess, and I save time . This is also valid for the little ones for whom you can paste pictures so that they put away their toys, underpants, socks on their own .
