Burning a table with a cigarette can happen to anyone.

The problem is that we only see that on your furniture.

Not only does the cigarette leave a burn but it also leaves a mark, because of the nicotine and tar.

1. Scrub with baking soda

Take a rag and soak it in baking soda. Rub the stain left by the cigarette. The mark will not disappear completely but it will be much less visible.

2. Use Marseille soap

Marseille soap has a thousand virtues! It can also fade a cigarette mark on furniture. Without wetting it, rub the stain. Then leave it on for a whole day. Finally rinse it thoroughly. And dry.

3. Try wood ash

Wood ash is a great natural stain remover. Mix it with a fatty substance, a little olive oil for example. Rub with this mixture. Remove it with a rag. Then rinse. You can also try with cigarette ash.

Result

Lo and behold, the cigarette mark is now gone :-)
