I was completely enthusiastic about the HEMA newsletter about the home accessories they currently have in their range. And lucky me… we have a HEMA in our village. So I quickly got on my bike (you know, sold my car) to get some nice new stuff for the fall.
I am a huge accessory lover when it comes to our interior and can therefore regularly be found in the home accessories corner of the HEMA. I was looking for accessories that would match my black accessories at home. But then in a few other (autumn) shades. One simply fits better in your interior than the other, doesn't it?
That's why I think those newsletters are so useful. Because we now live in the countryside, I can't be found in the center every week. Only if I really need something, or can go straight to my goal 😉 . And of course also when the weather is nice to grab a terrace with hubby.
With this autumnal weather I am not going to the center by bike for fun. But if I know what I can find there and I can mess around with my interior again. No sooner said than done. On the bike to the HEMA to score the latest home accessories. And no, of course I don't buy the whole store empty. Frank sees me coming. Lotte is also such a HEMA enthusiast (especially when it comes to school supplies), and then his wife also starts, haha.

Good. So I actually went for the kissing with the waves in the photo. I also really like the combination with the other cushions in autumn colours, but I had to make a choice. There are still a number of pillows on the couch that have not been there for very long. I can't just replace everything, it wouldn't be really sustainable either. I also think my other pillows are very nice, but the wave pillow from HEMA combines very nicely with the red and orange pillows at the home accessories in the photo of HEMA.
As far as we're concerned, a sofa is there to hang out and lie on. Plenty of pillows are therefore indispensable for us. Especially since we got our new sofa, because it sits a lot straighter than the old sofa. Nice pillows in your back are a must, but the eye also wants something natural. The colorways of this pillow are also reflected in the rest of our house, so I'm totally happy. Okay, so I went for the pillow I saw online, but it wasn't in stock in the store yet. Fortunately, the shelves with home accessories at HEMA are also well stocked. I found a great vase in cream color and a beautiful bunch of dried flowers for it. Exactly in the shades of our living room. By the way, they also have a nice vase in real autumn colours, I quickly shot a picture of that for you. Doesn't suit our house, but if you want to cocoon autumn tones in your living room, this is your vase!

In addition to this new collection with accessories in the home department, they also have new scented candles and scented sticks in the range at HEMA, I understood from the saleswoman. So I bought a bottle of that too to try it out. This not only smells delicious, but with its colors also fits very well in our living room. My 'hunger' for home accessories has been satisfied for a while by shopping at HEMA. I can mix and match nicely again.
