A bit of decoration on Télé Matin

Philippe Colignon, columnist on France Television and specialist in landscaping, decoration and the garden returns to the show Télé Matin on the installation of a graph'it Scenolia exterior decoration fabric. This canvas was installed last June for C'est au Program , the show of Sophie Before .

The objective was to revive and redo an interior courtyard to provide an additional room and a piece of garden to its owners. Among the essential points, we will note the need to enlarge the space and the need to bring light to the back of this courtyard overlooked by the austere walls of Parisian buildings.

Home staging or garden staging?

This small inner courtyard in grizzled concrete and a little sad "banging your head against the walls becomes, thanks to a series of tricks and innovative solutions, a much larger and brighter living space.

Great success. The inhabitants have reclaimed the courtyard. This very positive opinion is apparently shared by the journalists and columnists present on the TV set.

Among the ideas and tips

• Fake grass for the floor (beautiful "natural" color , apparently robust. And soft to the touch is good too).
• A bicycle room, made of wood (a small cabin that avoids leaving bicycles and tools lying around).
• A mirror for brightness and space (acrylic mirror, easy to hang and unbreakable).
• A stretched canvas to make the non-aesthetic wall disappear and dress. It is a question of placing a frame on the contour, a frame on which a canvas will be scratched in a few minutes. This is a mural trompe l'oeil giving real depth to the courtyard. The canvas is weather and UV resistant.
