How to finance the purchase of a private swimming pool?

Evaluate the pool purchase project upstream

Determining the right type of financing for your pool

Now that you know exactly how much you need to build your pool, it's time to think about financing. The ideal would obviously be to be able to self-finance the project. But you would have had to start saving for a certain period of time to pay cash for your pool, unless you received an inheritance. In any case, the Housing Savings Account (CEL) allows you to put money aside and benefit from an annual remuneration of 1.25% on the amounts saved.

If self-financing is not possible, it will be necessary to resort to bank credit. The work loan is the most suitable. It makes it possible to obtain financing between 1,500 and 35,000 euros. To benefit from it, you must demonstrate good repayment capacity and not have a debt ratio exceeding 33%. The bank will screen your personal situation to certify the real possibilities of reimbursement.

Another possibility is to take out an assigned loan. But in this case, the credit will only finance your swimming pool. So you cannot use the money for other purposes. The advantage is that you are not forced to repay the loan in the event of non-delivery, poor workmanship, malfunction or non-compliance with the technical specifications of the pool.
