Since there is not a lot of space on the hot tub deck, the bench will sit on the edge of the deck, leaning back. Attach the 4x4 support posts to the edge of the deck.
Create an adjustable template to determine the angle of the bench. Then cut wood to replicate the template. Screw the seat stays and backrests into place with a socket wrench.
Place pressure treated 2x4s over the seat supports and screw into place. After the 2x4s are attached to the bench seat, begin attaching the 2x4s to the back of the bench with coated deck screws. Be sure to leave a little space between each joist to give the bench a more even look.
