How to make a Pineapple Christmas Garland

Introduction

Not just for Christmas

We made our pinecone garland to decorate a fireplace for the holidays. But a strand or two would look great any time of year hanging inside or outside your home, or used as a wedding or party decoration.

Gather your materials

Wire cut

Cut lengths of floral wire 8 inches long, one for each pineapple.

Wrap the pineapple

Wrap each wire around the base of the pineapple and secure in place by twisting together. Take three to four wires and twist them to form a group of three to four pineapples.

Stage 4

Gather clusters together

Cut a length of the thick, wrapped wire across the final garland. Secure the pineapple bunches by wrapping the floral wire bunch in the thick wrapped wire. Continue securing the pineapple bunches along the thicker wire.

A decoration to last for years

String or wrap the garland to add texture and a bit of nature to your holiday décor.
