Follow the directions on the spray. Make sure you are doing this step in a well-ventilated area. Apply two or three coats to achieve and even look. Let dry 10 minutes between coats..

This step will vary slightly depending on the facial features you wish to create. For the heart-eyes emoji, draw eyes on construction paper and cut them out. Then paint red and let dry. Draw a mouth, cut it out and paint brown. If you know ahead of time what color facial features you want, skip the painting step by buying colored cardstock instead of white.

Using thin adhesive magnetic sheets, cut out four small rectangles for the eyes and two larger rectangles for the mouth. Keep in mind that you will have to play around with the size of these magnets depending on how big and what shape your facial features are.

Place two of the small rectangles on the dry spray painted pumpkin and two on the back of the heart eyes. Place the magnets for the mouth in the mouth area and on the back of the cardboard mouth.
Position the eyes and mouth to reveal the emoji. Change features as your mood changes!
