How to Make Starburst Mid-Century Modern Christmas Ornaments

Introduction

Christmas isn't Christmas without a healthy dose of glitter. Give all the sparkles a mid-century modern twist with these funky star ornaments.

Step 1

Crop Shapes

Using a craft knife or circular paper punch, cut/dot your desired shapes from the double-sided mounting film.

Step 2

Apply shapes to the adornment

Peel off the paper on one side, then apply your shapes to a clean glass ornament in any pattern you choose. Smooth out air bubbles.

Step 3

Pour in the glitter

To get started, choose a glitter color, then peel off the paper backing of the shapes you want in that color. Empty the glitter and press it onto the exposed sticky design.

Get rid of excess gloss

Brush off any excess glitter with a soft brush.
