1. When making the random weave basket, you'll start with a vine loop, which can be any diameter you're comfortable with. You just have to make sure the ends stay tucked in without coming out.
2. In that loop, you will loosely wrap another vine, letting it hang down, leaving six or seven loops that you will weave to form the basket shape.
3. You will add as many vines as you like, always tucking in the ends, so they stay in place when the basket is dry.
4. Pulling harder on the weaver vine will bring the vines closer together and fill in any open spaces in the basket.
5. There is no real pattern to the basket, and the shape can be anything you have in mind, but the end result is rarely exactly your original idea.
