These easy embroidery hoop wall hangers have so many options. You can add cork so they become a bulletin board. Old blue jeans add an extra pocket. Depending on the fabric and the size of the hoop, you can make it subtle and elegant or big and bold.

Cork comes in rolls or squares. Choose a size that fits inside your embroidery hoop.

Embroidery hoops come in two parts. Set the outer piece (with attached hardware) aside. Trace a circle on the cork around the outside of the inner ring.

Cork can be easily cut with scissors. If your cork is very thin, you may need to sandwich some pieces. Use a hot glue gun to attach the cork circle to the back of the inner hoop piece.

Stretch a piece of fabric across the front of the hoop and secure it in place with the outer hoop. Trim the excess fabric from the back and use hot glue to secure the fabric to the hoop and cork backing. Feel free to add decorations or embellishments.

Try using other materials, like old jeans for an extra pocket. You can stretch a pair through a full embroidery hoop depending on the size of the jeans. Boys' jeans that have been outgrown are great for this project.

Another fun option is to simply remove the pocket from the pants and attach them to the stretched fabric or cork with glue.
Hang in a group on the wall. These pockets are ideal for light craft supplies, message centers for busy families, or mail.
